To help ease the summer travel rush, Western Railway has announced a Superfast Tejas Special train between Mumbai Central-Rajkot. This special service is designed to offer passengers a faster and more comfortable option during the peak holiday season.
The train will run 34 trips between April 21 and May 29, 2025. It adds to the existing choices on this busy route, such as the Hapa Duronto Express.
Schedule and Travel Days
Train number 09005 will depart from Mumbai Central at 11:20 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. It will reach Rajkot at 11:45 AM the next day.
On the return leg, train number 09006 will leave Rajkot at 6:30 PM on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, arriving in Mumbai Central at 7:30 AM the following morning.
Route and Stops
The Mumbai Central-Rajkot Tejas Special will stop at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Anand, Ahmedabad, Viramgam, Surendranagar, and Wankaner in both directions. These halts make the train convenient for travelers across Gujarat and Maharashtra.
